Project ACCESS Parents
Project ACCESS is deeply committed to a service system centered around and driven by the family. Part of our goal is for the service system to belong to the people it serves. We aim to create a governance board that is made up primarily of family members of those receiving services.
In order to help parents to take control of the systems they and their families are involved in, Project ACCESS has held two parent summits: Parents As Partners and this past Spring's P3: Parents on the Move - Takin' It Back.
P3 stands for Parents Promoting Presence. It is a group of parents who are committed to increasing the role of parents in their communities and the lives of their children.
Project ACCESS supports P3 and other parent groups in Champaign County. Please don't hesitate to contact us if there is something we can do to help.
Parents, this space is yours. If you have ideas on what to do with it or how we can support you, please contact us.
